Consultations

A consultation is helpful if you don’t know exactly what you need. Maybe you are curious about doing a psychological assessment, but you have questions. You may think something is going on with your child, but you wonder if it is just a phase. You might be asking yourself, “How do I know if this is really a problem?”

Or, maybe you suspect that you have a learning or attention problem, and you want to know more about your options. Who can you talk to? What are the best books or websites to look at? What kind of testing would be best?

Consultations are also a great option if you or your child had an evaluation somewhere else, but you don’t understand the results. I can cut through the jargon and help you make sense of the results.

Psychological Assessments for Children (ages 6+), Adolescents, and Adults

For the past decade, I have met with incredible families, trained psychologists, and collaborated with other professionals to provide exceptional psychological assessment services in the Triangle. My psychological assessments are highly personalized, with custom-designed assessment batteries to address your family’s specific concerns. They are also evidence-based and grounded in current research, using the best assessment tools available. My written assessment reports capture the whole person, not just a set of scores. The type of quality psychological assessment I offer is transformative.

Completing an assessment with me is a therapeutic process that leads to shifts in perspective and ideas for change that help you or your child reach your full potential. Ongoing Support

If you have a great team who works with your child, you might be looking for someone to explain your child’s profile to the team. School meetings, program reviews, and professional collaboration are all ways to make sure everyone’s on the same page and pulling together to support your child.

Clinical Supervision

I offer supervision to post-doctoral or early-career psychologists interested in improving their assessment skills and the quality of their written reports.
