About Dr. Scearce

Dr. Susannah Scearce (pronounced like scarce) is a licensed psychologist and the owner of Scearce Psychological Assessment, PLLC. Dr. Scearce’s interest in psychological assessment started in her first year of graduate school at the University of North Texas, when she learned she could use her nerdy love for statistics to help parents better understand and advocate for their children. She focuses on assessment because it is the most effective tool she has found to use her skills and training to empower others.

Dr. Scearce prioritizes being compassionate and comprehensive in her clinical work. She has advanced training in therapeutic assessment, which utilizes a collaborative approach. After earning her master’s and doctoral degrees in Denton, Texas and completing her doctoral internship in Miami, Florida, Dr. Scearce was happy to return to North Carolina in 2014. She grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina where she now resides with her husband and daughter. She enjoys telling unsuspecting loved ones all about the books she is reading, running on the greenway, cooking new recipes for company, and making art messes. She dislikes cleaning. Above all, she is proud to witness the profound changes the assessment process ignites in the lives of her clients.
